What you can adjust without touching a file
The settings that really change the experience are available from the panel. The servername.ini and servername_SandboxVars.lua files remain directly editable if you prefer.
Steam Workshop mods and maps
Add your Workshop IDs and mod IDs from the panel: the server downloads them on restart and players get them when they connect. Additional maps (Raven Creek, Fort Redstone and others) are installed the same way.
Zombies: population, speed, memory
Population density, population peaks and their delay, movement speed, strength, hearing and sight, respawn, migration between areas: the sliders that set the real difficulty of your server.
Loot, XP and day length
Rarity per category (food, weapons, medical, tools), loot regeneration, XP multipliers, day length, water and power shutoff, weather. Everything from a relaxed game to a long survival.
PvP, safehouses and factions
PvP on or off, damage between players, claimable safehouses and looting protection, factions, respawn in the safehouse or at the last point. The same server can go from co-op to roleplay.
Backups and restore
Scheduled automatic backups and one-click restore. Useful after a crash mid-save or a mod update that breaks the world.
Scheduled restart
A Java server uses more and more memory as hours go by. A scheduled daily restart, with a warning message to players, keeps the server smooth without intervention.
The server is deployed in 60 seconds and the world is ready to play: there is no key to provide and no file to upload to get started.
