A server for roleplay, racing or PvP

The Freeroam mode ships with the server, with its races and PvP, so your players can meet in Night City from the very first start. For a roleplay server, you add your own resources on top.

Gameplay is written in Lua 5.4. A resource reloads as soon as you save the file and can display its own HTML interfaces. The included MySQL database keeps characters and progress from one session to the next.

What is OPEN//77?
OPEN//77 adds multiplayer to Cyberpunk 2077 on PC. Players meet on community servers that each set their own rules: roleplay, racing, PvP or a game mode written in Lua. The project is in Alpha and is not affiliated with CD PROJEKT RED.
What do players need to join my server?
Each player needs Cyberpunk 2077 with the Phantom Liberty expansion on PC, the OPEN//77 launcher and Alpha access, which you request on the OPEN//77 Discord. The server itself does not need any game files.
Where do I get the server license key?
Create it for free in your open2077.net account (Keys section), then paste it in the panel, Startup tab, “OPEN//77 license key” field. It starts with op77_live_ and is shown only once, so keep it. The server does not start without it.
Which OPEN//77 plan should I choose?
Lite (4 GB) is enough to start a Freeroam server with your first players. Start (8 GB), Plus (12 GB) and Pro (16 GB) leave room for a roleplay server with many Lua resources and players. Prices start at €5.99/month, Anti-DDoS and 24/7 support included.

Does the server update itself?

Can I keep characters between sessions?
Yes, with the included MySQL database: create it in the panel's Databases tab, paste its connection string in the “MySQL database” field of the Startup tab, then restart the server.
