Is protection included in the price of VPS and dedicated servers?
Yes. It is active on all our VPS and dedicated servers, at no extra cost, for as long as you keep the service. The paid Anti-DDoS Plus option adds alerts and an attack log.
Does it protect a website against HTTP floods?
The included protection stops network attacks: UDP, TCP and SYN floods and amplification. Against HTTP floods and bots targeting a website or an API, Layer 7 protection adds a challenge in front of your pages. The two work together.
Can I host a mail server?
Yes. On VPS and dedicated servers, port 25 (SMTP sending) is available as an option. The mail server gets the same protection as the rest of the machine.
How quickly is emergency protection active?
BGP announcement takes 1 to 3 minutes depending on operators, and inline mitigation is effective immediately once configured.
How much does emergency protection cost?
The BGP emergency service is priced on a quote basis based on duration, traffic volume and prefixes involved. Contact us for an immediate quote.
